About Trainer Kurt Hoss
Kurt Hoss has spent the past 22 years training dogs. He specializes in all breeds of bird dogs and excels with all other breeds for obedience training. He is most proud of being a 3-time winner of the AHDC's Quail Championship, twice with his German Wirehaired Pointer Jody and now with his German Wirehaired Pointer Maggie
He started training as a member of the American Hunting Dog Club. He has helped to train many dogs and their handlers, preparing them for future hunting tests. He's been involved with the very first youth hunting day in CT and has been a continual supporter of the program since it's conception. He also started the very first youth hunting program for his local hunting club and looks forward to teaching young sportsmen and women what hunting is all about. As a hobby he also propagated Bobwhite Quail, Chukkar Partridge and Hungarian Partridge.
